tattoo #35 and a potential substack move 🪞🧁☕️

hi, friends! Starting off this tattoo post with a small potential announcement, I have absolutely loved blogging on Wix for almost six years now, but if you also blog on here, you know how pricey the annual premium plans can be!

I have been a long time reader on Substack, and tried my hand at writing on it for the first time last night, and I love it! Something about that app feels so mature yet fun, and I'm enjoying trying something new!

Wix doesn't have an easy and simple import/export situation, so I will be slowly moving/recreating my posts before writing new ones, (likely with some updates, as some of those posts are almost six years old!) Anyway, back to the new tattoo! Over the weekend, I finally got a tattoo to express my undying love for my favourite note to see in a perfume, my favourite cheesecake flavour to see on a dessert menu, my favourite syrup to add to my iced chocolate, the list goes on.

Maly at Studio Luna Nova really captured my (vanilla) essence with this one, and I love it so much!

Enjoy this vanilla appreciation post! I didn't even take any new photos for this part of the blog post, I just did a camera roll search for 'vanilla' and found all of these, this is just who I am in my bones.

Also extra bonus points go to Maly for putting the vanilla flower in this gorgeous vintage, ornate frame, I don't think I had even mentioned to her how much I am on the hunt for one. what an icon.
